The Seiko Prospex Alpinist HBC006J is a 145th Anniversary Limited Edition featuring an Edo Purple dial with gold-coloured detailing. Also identified internationally as HBC006J1, this automatic Seiko watch combines the Alpinist’s internal compass bezel with a compact stainless-steel case and 20-bar water resistance.
Power comes from Seiko’s Caliber 6R55 automatic movement, which supports manual winding, hacking seconds, a date display, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve. The 39.5 mm stainless-steel case has DiaShield coating and is protected by a sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating and a date magnifier.
The watch is fitted with a black cow-leather strap with purple stitching and a three-fold clasp with push-button release. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes, while the screw-down exhibition caseback carries the limited-edition marking and individual serial number.
