The Seiko Prospex SPEEDTIMER SBDC217 is a mechanical automatic sports watch with manual winding, a date display, and an internal rotating countdown ring. This Core Shop exclusive model combines a compact 39.5 mm stainless-steel case with Seiko’s 6R55 movement and approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
The dark gray-black dial features a vertical hairline finish, LumiBrite hands and indexes, and orange timing accents. A curved sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the internal countdown ring is operated by the crown at approximately 4 o’clock.
The watch is fitted with a five-link stainless-steel bracelet and one-push three-fold clasp. Its screw-down caseback, DiaShield coating, magnetic resistance, and 20-bar water resistance provide practical everyday durability.
