The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SBED009 is a GPS Solar dual-time chronograph powered by Seiko Caliber 5X83. It combines satellite-controlled time adjustment with a 1/20-second chronograph, perpetual calendar, and world-time functionality covering 38 time zones.
The watch features a 42.0 mm stainless steel case with DiaShield coating, a dual-curved sapphire crystal with Super-Clear coating, and an off-white/silver dial with black sub-dials and orange accents. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes, while the stainless steel bracelet is secured by a push-button three-fold clasp with Smart Adjuster.
The SBED009 offers approximately six months of power when fully charged, extending to approximately two years in power-saving mode. Its 10-bar water resistance, dual-time display, Time Transfer function, power-reserve indicator, in-flight mode, and automatic hand-position correction make it particularly practical for frequent travellers.
