The 39.5 mm case is finished with Seiko DiaShield coating and paired with sapphire crystal featuring Super-Clear coating. The black dial includes LumiBrite hands and indexes, while the radio-controlled movement receives standard time signals from Japan, China, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The SBTM291 includes world time across 25 time zones, a full automatic calendar through December 31, 2099, power-save functionality, overcharge prevention, and automatic hand-position correction. Its titanium construction keeps the total weight to approximately 72 grams.
