The Seiko Prospex SBDC201 is a Diver Scuba mechanical watch powered by Seiko’s 6R55 automatic movement. It combines a 72-hour power reserve with 300 m air-diving water resistance, making it a capable modern Seiko automatic diver.
The watch features a pearl beige dial with a coastline-inspired wave pattern, LumiBrite hands and markers, and a date display between 4 and 5 o’clock. Its stainless-steel case has DiaShield coating, while the sapphire crystal includes inner anti-reflective coating. The polygonal unidirectional bezel gives the watch a distinctive contemporary profile.
The SBDC201 is supplied on a stainless-steel bracelet with a secure three-fold clasp, push-button release, and one-push diver extension. Additional practical features include a screw-lock crown, screw caseback, hacking seconds, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
