The Seiko Astron Nexter SBXY097 is a solar-powered radio-controlled chronograph with Seiko’s Caliber 8B92 movement. Released in Japan in May 2025, it combines a lightweight titanium case and bracelet with a black vertically textured dial and modern angular Nexter styling.
The 41.3 mm pure-titanium case features Seiko Diamond Shield coating, while the sapphire crystal is fitted with Super-Clear Coating. The solar radio-controlled movement receives standard time signals from Japan, China, the United States, and Germany, and includes world time, a 1/5-second chronograph, and a perpetual calendar.
The SBXY097 offers approximately six months of operation when fully charged and approximately two years in power-save mode. Its titanium bracelet uses a one-push three-fold clasp with Smart Adjuster, and the watch provides 10-bar water resistance.
