The Seiko Astron NEXTER SBXY053 is a solar radio-controlled watch powered by Seiko’s Caliber 8B63. It combines titanium construction, a blue textured dial, sapphire crystal, and practical world-time functionality in a refined Astron design.
The 42.7 mm pure-titanium case features DiaShield coating, while the sapphire crystal is treated with Seiko’s Super-Clear Coating. The blue dial includes Lumibrite on the hands and indexes, and the titanium bracelet is secured by a one-push three-fold clasp with Smart Adjuster.
Additional functions include dual-time display, 25-time-zone world time, automatic radio reception, retrograde day display, automatic hand-position correction, and a full automatic calendar through December 31, 2099. The watch offers approximately nine months of power when fully charged and 10-bar water resistance.
