The Seiko Astron NEXTER SBXY051 is a solar radio-controlled quartz watch from Seiko’s NEXTER 2nd Collection. It features the Caliber 8B63 movement, a navy blue NOVA-patterned dial, and a lightweight titanium case and bracelet with Diamond Shield coating.
The 42.7 mm case combines pure titanium with a ceramic bezel display plate. A sapphire crystal with Super-Clear Coating protects the dial, while LumiBrite hands and indexes improve visibility in low light. The titanium bracelet is fitted with a one-push three-fold clasp and Smart Adjuster for convenient micro-adjustment.
The watch provides world time across 25 time zones, dual-time display, a retrograde day indicator, and a full automatic calendar through December 31, 2099. It has 10-bar water resistance and offers approximately nine months of operation when fully charged, or approximately two years with power-saving activated.
