The Seiko Astron NEXTER SBXY041 is a solar-powered, radio-controlled quartz watch with a black titanium case and bracelet. It uses Seiko’s Caliber 8B63 and combines automatic time adjustment, world time, dual time, and a perpetual calendar with the lightweight construction of titanium.
The black dial features LumiBrite hands and indexes, while the sapphire crystal has Seiko’s Super-Clear Coating. The case and titanium bracelet use Diamond Shield hard coating, and the bracelet is fitted with a one-push three-fold clasp and Smart Adjuster for minor length adjustments.
The SBXY041 offers 10-bar water resistance, reception from radio stations in Japan, China, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, and approximately nine months of operation when fully charged. Its power-save mode extends operation to approximately two years.
