The Seiko Astron Nexter SBXC177 is a GPS Solar watch powered by Seiko Caliber 5X83. It combines satellite-controlled timekeeping, dual-time functionality and a 1/20-second chronograph in a lightweight titanium case.
The silver-gray dial features a horizontal pattern, LumiBrite hands and indexes, and diamond-cut details around the sub-dials. The watch has a dual-curved sapphire crystal with Super-Clear coating, a sapphire crystal bezel insert, and a titanium bracelet with a Smart Adjuster clasp.
The Caliber 5X83 offers approximately six months of operation when fully charged, with power-save operation extending to approximately two years. Additional functions include world time for 38 time zones, a perpetual calendar through February 28, 2100, GPS time-zone adjustment, power-reserve indication and automatic hand-position correction.
