The Seiko Astron NEXTER SBXC163 is a GPS Solar watch powered by Seiko’s Caliber 5X83. It combines automatic GPS time-zone adjustment with dual-time display and a 1/20-second chronograph.
The 42.0 mm titanium case features Seiko’s Diamond Shield coating, a dual-curved sapphire crystal with Super-Clear coating, and an asphalt-gray dial with a vertical textured pattern. The titanium H-link bracelet includes a one-push three-fold clasp with Smart Adjuster functionality.
The Caliber 5X83 provides approximately six months of operation when fully charged, with power-save operation of approximately two years. Additional functions include a perpetual calendar, 38-time-zone world time, day and date display, power-reserve indication, flight mode, and automatic hand-position correction.
