The Seiko Astron NEXTER SBXY063 is a solar radio-controlled quartz watch from the NEXTER 3rd Collection. It features Seiko’s 7B72 caliber, a compact 39.6 mm pure-titanium case, and a black dial with a distinctive Crystal Box Pattern.
The angular titanium case and multi-sided bezel are finished with Seiko’s Diamond Shield coating. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with Super-Clear Coating, while LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes. The titanium bracelet includes a one-push three-fold clasp with a Smart Adjuster mechanism for tool-free fine adjustment.
The 7B72 movement provides approximately nine months of operation when fully charged and can receive standard radio signals from Japan, China, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Additional functions include a full automatic calendar through December 31, 2099, power saving, overcharge prevention, and automatic hand-position correction.
