The Seiko Astron Nexter HAB001J is a GPS Solar dual-time chronograph powered by Seiko’s Caliber 5X63. It combines GPS satellite time and time-zone adjustment with a 24-hour chronograph, perpetual calendar, and dual-time display.
The titanium case features Seiko’s super-hard coating, while the blue-gray dial has geometric textured detailing. A sapphire crystal with Super-Clear coating protects the dial, and LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes. The watch is fitted with a titanium bracelet featuring a three-fold clasp, push-button release, and Smart Adjuster.
Additional functions include world time covering approximately 38 time zones, time transfer between the main and sub-dial displays, power-reserve indication, daylight-saving-time adjustment, in-flight mode, automatic hand-position alignment, and overcharge prevention. The watch offers approximately six months of operation when fully charged.
