The Seiko 5 Sports HDB007J is a mechanical automatic field watch from Seiko’s Field Series. It combines a silver-white dial, stainless-steel construction and a bidirectional rotating compass bezel with the practical day-date functionality of Seiko’s 4R36 movement.
The 41.0 mm stainless-steel case features a curved Hardlex crystal, a screw-down see-through caseback and a stainless-steel bracelet with a secure three-fold clasp. The dial uses large Arabic numerals, an inner 24-hour scale and LumiBrite for improved low-light visibility.
The 4R36 movement offers automatic winding, manual winding, stop-seconds functionality and approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar, making the watch suitable for everyday wear and general recreational use.
