The Orient Star RK-BZ0005G is a limited-edition model from the Contemporary M34 Avant-Garde F8 Skeleton collection. It features an automatic mechanical movement, an openworked skeleton dial, a gold-colored stainless-steel case, and a distinctive blue silicon escape wheel.
The watch is powered by Orient Star caliber F8F64, with automatic and manual winding, a power reserve of 60 hours or more, and a power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The champagne-gold openworked dial reveals elements of the movement, including the blue silicon escape wheel near 6 o’clock. Sapphire crystal with SAR anti-reflective coating is fitted to the front, while the rear uses a sapphire exhibition caseback.
The 42.3 mm case is paired with a khaki Cordura nylon strap featuring a yellow leather lining and a push-button three-fold deployment clasp. Additional features include small seconds, hacking seconds, luminous hands and indices, a screw-lock crown, 10-bar water resistance, and JIS Class 1 antimagnetic resistance. The model was produced in a worldwide edition of 300 pieces, with 200 allocated to Japan.
