The Casio G-SHOCK MR-G MRG-B5000R-1JR is a solar-powered digital watch from Casio’s premium MR-G series. Based on the original square G-SHOCK design, it combines Tough Solar power with Multi Band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping and Bluetooth connectivity through the CASIO WATCHES app.
The black DLC-coated Ti64 titanium case is fitted with a multi-component bezel featuring a COBARION top section. Its digital display incorporates the brick pattern and gold-colored accents associated with the original DW-5000C. Sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating protects the display, while a Dura Soft fluoro-rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp provides a secure fit.
Practical functions include world time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms and a high-brightness LED backlight. The watch is shock resistant and water resistant to 200 meters, with approximately 10 months of operation after a full charge without further light exposure.
