The Casio G-SHOCK GW-8900-1JF is a digital watch from the 8900 Series, combining Tough Solar power with Multi-Band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping. Released in Japan in September 2011, it features a large, highly legible display and the robust shock-resistant construction associated with G-SHOCK.
Its substantial resin and stainless steel case measures 55.1 × 52.5 × 16.3 mm and is fitted with mineral glass and a durable resin strap. A white LED Super Illuminator provides strong visibility in low light, supported by Full Auto Light, afterglow and selectable illumination duration.
Practical functions include world time across 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms and a full-auto calendar. The watch also offers 20-bar water resistance, a battery-level indicator and a power-saving mode that extends operation when stored in darkness.
