The Casio G-SHOCK G-5600SFJ-9JR is a 5600-series square digital watch created in collaboration with Surfrider Foundation Japan. It combines G-SHOCK shock resistance with Tough Solar power, 200-meter water resistance, and a distinctive yellow mixed-color design inspired by the “Sunrise Surf” theme.
The watch uses Casio’s Module 3496 and features a positive digital display, mineral glass, and a resin case and band incorporating bio-based material. The mixed-color molding process gives each watch an individual yellow and light-yellow pattern. Surfrider Foundation Japan branding appears on the dial and case back, while the band keeper features the “#oceanfriendlylifestyle” message.
Functions include world time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms with one snooze alarm, a full-auto LED backlight, power saving, and a full auto-calendar. The Tough Solar system provides approximately 12 months of operation after a full charge, or approximately 22 months with power saving enabled.
